When children decide to drive...
Updated | By Zaba
Two young children decided to take themselves to their grandma's house when their mother couldn't and it doesn't end well.
I’ve always been a fan of those little motorised cars one can buy for your toddler, but one of my biggest fears, is what happens when the kids get behind the wheel of a regular car? Those toy cars drive like automatic cars and if you know a toddler, they believe that there is nothing that they can’t do.
Here’s a story of one of my greatest fears…
Police in Washington say that two children (aged 5 and 3) were so determined to get to their granny’s house, that they took a car from their driveway, and drove it themselves. They went through a nearby intersection and crashed into a second car.
When asked where is your mom, the pre-schoolers replied “Sleeping, I want to go to my grandma’s house”
Thankfully the children were not injured but the driver of the second car had cuts and bruises.
Authorities haven’t confirmed whether or not the parents would face any charges.
The Ford is the car that the children were driving, and the Volvo is the car they crashed into.
