Undertakers in Ghana seize corpse from mourning family over debt

We recently came across a very disturbing video shot in Ghana which has shocked many.
Mourners at a funeral were horrified as they witnessed a man’s body being taken from a coffin and carried away by undertakers.

The undertakers seized the body before it was lowered into the grave because the family refused to pay undertaking expenses worth £27 (roughly R440), even after the undertakers assisted with the dressing the body.
However, the undertakers returned the body after being paid a portion of the amount. These undertakers did this to send a strong message to people to think twice before taking advantage of them.
