We've come across some disturbing footage showing a driver failing to check their surroundings before reversing. According to News24, the learner driver from Zimbabwe was attempting to parallel park but got distracted.
In the video, you can see the car attempting to reverse close to the area where two women were seated on the pavement. In a matter of seconds, the reversed car speeds up and runs over one of the woman.

Despite the horror of actually seeing something like this, what's even more shocking is that the other pedestrian just got up and walked away without attempting to assist the injured woman. How would you have reacted if you were in a similar situation like this?
