Phat Joe chats to AfriBusiness Law Analyst about Malema’s land grab interdict

An interdict was recently passed by the High Court barring EFF leader, Julius Malema from inciting land grabs. Armand Greyling, AfriBusiness’ Law and policy analyst, shares his views on the matter.
According to TimesLive, an interdict has finally been granted to Afriforum and AfriBusiness, who are both advocates of business rights, barring EFF leader Julius Malema from inciting any illegal land grabs.

The application was submitted in November 2016 and was only passed by the High Court this past Tuesday. Afriforum and AfriBusiness filed the application on the basis that by Malema claiming land, he was committing a criminal offence.
