Passengers throw 'graduation' ceremony for student on train

There's nothing worse than getting delayed for something important - especially if it's something that you have been looking forward to for a long time.
When 22-year-old college student Jerich Marco Alcantara was making his way to his college graduation recently, he never thought that a transportation failure would prevent him from attending.

Jerich was stuck on a train while on his way to his graduation when the train's brakes failed, causing him to be delayed by over 90 minutes. Joking, due to the train delay, he thanked his fellow commuters for attending his 'graduation'. Little did he know that they would actually take him seriously.

The 'ceremony', complete with an electronic version of his qualification, has been captured on video and viewed over two-million times. These commuters had fun turning this awful situation on its head and giving him a memory that he would never forget. It seems that getting delayed isn't that bad after all?
