Much loved Mags returns to East Coast Radio
Updated | By East Coast Radio
East Coast Radio is excited to announce the return of presenter Mags van der Westhuizen, now Margaret Westerhof, to its airwaves as part of the East Coast Drive team.
The former Big Brother housemate, who was a co-host on the station between 2002 and 2007, will join Phat Joe, Rory and Gareth as a co-host every weekday between 15h00 and 18h00, starting Tuesday 4 April.
East Coast Radio’s Programming Manager Zane Derbyshire says they’re delighted to welcome Mags back, “We’re always looking to offer our listeners only the best talent and with us wanting to broaden the appeal of the drive show, Mags was the perfect fit. Her infectious laugh and bubbly nature will again win her a place in our listeners’ hearts.”
Both Phat Joe and Mags are looking forward to working together. Phat Joe quips, “Today two lions join forces to eat the competition’s lunch… Grrr!” Mags meanwhile says, “It seems that in our career our paths have always just missed and yet we’ve worked in exactly the same companies in the same industries, but today the paths align and I cannot wait!”
Don’t miss East Coast Drive - a high-octane, no-holds barred three hour joyride shortens your drive home from Mondays to Fridays between 15h00 – 18h00.
