Victor Aguilar, who is the mayor of a small fishing town in Mexico called San Pedro Huamelula, married a crocodile. How crazy, right?!

This mind-boggling custom forms part of the local harvest ceremony where the reptile is dressed in a custom-made bridal gown and paraded through the town.

The female reptile is considered to be a princess and the traditional belief is that the crocodile will 'bring luck' to the locals with a 'good harvest'.
