On Monday it was finally revealed that Mags will be the new co-host alongside Phat Joe on East Coast Drive. She decided to take some time to write a few things down which will help you to get to know her better.
Guess who's back? Back again? I'm back! It almost feels surreal to me. I cannot believe that after all these years, I am joining the East Coast family again.

I am so excited that I was given the opportunity to join the East Coast Radio family again. In case you didn't know, I used to be a co-host on the Afternoon Drive between 2003 and 2007. For some of you that don't know me (Where have you been? Haha!) I decided to jot down a few things about me which will help you to get to know me a bit better.
My name is Mags Westerhof, I am 38-years-old, and hail from Ballito. I am a business owner of a marketing agency which I am extremely passionate about. I have been in the entertainment industry since before many of you were in your mother's womb. Ha!
Many of you will remember me during my time on the Afternoon Drive on East Coast Radio between 2003 and 2007, and my appearance on the very first season of Big Brother South Africa. During the time that I was not on air, my business, which is an undeniable passion of mine, has been keeping me very busy.
I am a mother of one. My beautiful, precious son is five-years-old and is my world. I really can't imagine my life without him. He is my heart and my soul. In addition to my son, other things that I am absolutely crazy about include horses, summiting mountains, my family and a good bottle of wine.
I really am so glad to be joining the team on East Coast Drive and cannot wait to start engaging with the amazing East Coast listeners. I'm ever so ready to crack the whip on these boys. Tune in between 3pm and 6pm weekdays as I, alongside the amazing Drive team with Phat Joe, take you home. Expect to hear a lot of laughs, a strong opinion, and some good old fashion fun from me.
