The East Coast Drive tackled another issue regarding parenting following on from Monday's chat about the emotional manipulation that kids use to get their way.

Mags came across a story about a father from New York who recently discovered his 23-year-old son's stash of heroin. To teach him a valuable lesson about the harmful effects of drugs, he decided to overdose on the stash to get the message across his son about why he should not be getting involved with drugs.

Thankfully the father received medical attention and survived. However his plan to get the message across worked as his son went back to rehab to get the help he needs.
