What tricks do your kids use to emotionally manipulate you? Does it usually work? Mags shares her first-hand experiences of manipulation from her six-year-old son.
I am mostly immovable when it comes to manipulation.
I recently received a voice note from my son trying to manipulate me, using his emotions to ensure that I allowed him to attend a fishing trip. Okay, granted that it was a stunning day, he excels at school with merit badges, and he manages to cruise through his homework, so I let this one slide.

But it really got me thinking, how many other parents go through this type of emotional manipulation?
I truly feel that as a parent, you would be able to figure out when they're just being cute and when they are darn right rude? I just take each one as it comes, but if it's darn right rude, then there is no moving this mamma. I stand my ground and my little one knows it.
