People use different methods to get up in the morning. Either they have a significant other to wake them up or a screaming mom also does the trick.

However, many make use of an alarm clock (either the physical clock or an app) to help them get out of bed. A man from Pennsylvania thought he came up with an ingenious idea to help him find a place to drill in the wall but it didn't work out quite as planned.
Using an alarm clock tied to a string, he lowered the clock and set it for ten minutes, however, the clock fell and he still didn't know where to drill his hole in the wall. So 13 years later and the clock is still stuck in the wall and has been going off ever since. One can only wonder how powerful those batteries in the clock are?

Although you may think that he could have just cut a hole in the wall and retrieve the clock, they have got so used to the daily ringing which happens just before 8:00pm that they decided to just leave it there.
One thing is for certain, this household is always abuzz!
