The human body is one of the most - if not the most - fascinating things, ever.
Obviously we would find it fascinating because we're human... or are we?
Just kidding.
Insider reported that an American man has been struggling to breathe for years and doctors could not find out why.
Until one day... the mystery was solved!

The 38-year-old man finally got an answer after visiting clinicians at a Mount Sinai ear, nose, and throat clinic.
Upon closer inspection, it did appear that he had a deviated septum.
When oral and maxillofacial surgeons conducted a more invasive exam, they discovered what seemed to be a hard, white mass in his right nostril, displaying all the characteristics of an inverted ectopic tooth.

Basically, an upside-down tooth in the wrong place.

There have been previous instances where this happens according to a report in Healthline.
Either way, we don't suggest brushing the inside of your nose or trying to chew anything through your nose, either.
We know who would have been able to solve this mystery a lot earlier, right?
Thankfully, doctors were able to remove the 1.5 cm tooth without any complications.
