What's the most bizarre job you've ever had?
Not all people can attest to having a great first job. To make a few Rands some people have had to do some crazy things and we could never have guessed that Jane's first job involved her being a clown!
While casting my mind back in trying to remember my very first job, I bypass the memory of being an au pair, waitress, and shop assistant and arrive at a holiday job while still in senior school.

It was my sister's 6th birthday, and I had the job of being the entertainment. Yes, a clown!
I eagerly headed off to the garage while the garden was full of excited party kids to dress up in my clown attire. My mom did my make-up, I had the wig, and I wore my mom's two-piece silk pantsuit - yellow with black stripes, and my dad's shoes.

I arrived, and the kids were delighted until I stood on my sister's foot, which made her cry, and did what any clown of 12 years old would do... I bolted, ran across the garden, jumped over the gate, and went and recovered in the garage. That was the first and only time I have done the clown gig.
I've been doing some reading and have found that I'm not alone here. Taylor Swift used to be a Christmas Tree exterminator... Okay, that's a bit out there?! Miss rainbows and unicorns Miley Cyrus picked up underwear in concert venues and Kanye West served some time at The Gap, to name but a few.
