Watch Kourtney Kardashian's reaction to not being chosen as True's guardian

It's tough deciding on who to choose as your child's legal guardian, and it can leave you in an awkward position when rejecting someone who thought they were going to be your choice.
For my sister and I, it was never a case of choosing each other or not to be legal guardians for our kids, but just an understanding that if ever anything should happen to either set of parents that the children will be looked after. Godparents, on the other hand, has in the past been a bone of contention.

While pregnant and extremely hormonal, I asked a new friend to be a godparent and realised I had made an emotional choice. As a result, I passed on a lifelong friend.
It was never my intention to hurt either of them, and I was dammed either way.
There's a sense of uneasiness which sets in when the person who thought they were going to be your kid's legal guardian finds out that you didn't choose them.
This was the case with Kourtney Kardashian, who had to find out the hard way that her sister Khloe did not choose her to be her daughter's legal guardian.

The incident occurred during an episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' when Khloe bravely said that she resonated more with Kim's parenting style than Kourtney's.
Kourtney jokingly responded that she was fine with it, and that she didn't choose Kim as her kids' legal guardian because of her 'core moral values'. She did, however, add that "you don’t know what your parenting style is until you have kids."
Her expression when Khloe dropped the news is what many on the internet have been talking about.
