While walking up to be capped during his graduation ceremony, Bachelor of Laws graduate Njabulo Ntombela went up to his great gran and draped his gown around her so that they could graduate together. This occasion was met with applause and great cheer, as she did not expect this.

According to News24, Njabulo had planned this all along.
I would just like her to know I am happy for having her around and proud of her for supporting me.- Njabulo Ntombela
The two knelt together and graduated. This is such a heartfelt moment, and I am so proud of this young man for acknowledging the work his great gran put in with him. This gesture is a testament to the fantastic man this beautiful lady raised.

Just looking at these pictures my heart pangs. Can you imagine the mutual pride these two souls have for each other? The great-grandmother must have been giddy with euphoria as she had the cloak put on. What a moment shared with this young man and his great granny!
