increasingly competitive market. One new footwear start-up is taking
advantage of the trend with a surprising new line of products.
They’re called Wiivv and they offer two products at the moment: flip-flops and shoe inners.
What makes these different from your run-of-the-mill versions is that they’re custom produced to match the contours of your feet.
That way they can guarantee you’ll always find the perfect fit.
This is an interesting example of the mass-customisation trend, because it’s something that actually does benefit you as the user.
Often you can just customise the way something looks, but personalising the fit can be a compelling reason to actually buy something.
