The first day #BackToSchool: Where has the time gone?

The first bell of the school year has rung, and Jane cannot believe how fast time has flown. She took a moment to look at her not-so-little kids.

There is much excitement in the Thomas house ahead of the first day back at school. The joy and nerves of meeting new friends, finding out who their class teacher is, and, of course, the uniform and moving up a grade.

My daughter Lula had a dry run the night before getting dolled up with her full uniform, hair accessories, shoes and white socks. My heart could have burst. I can’t believe how far we have come from having three kids in nappies to now a not-so-little one in Grade 3, and the twins going into Grade 1 - how quickly time has passed.
