Who says you need fabric to create the perfect prom attire? The thing you need may just be lying around in your home!
I absolutely love checking out how the teens of today dress up for proms. Some of them really come up with some gorgeous outfits - some that I can even picture myself in.

I came across these teens whose outfits can only be described as ingenious and creative. How incredible! According to Today, these teens from Nebraska, USA used only duct tape to make a prom dress and a tuxedo. The results are simply amazing.
However, it wasn't an easy feat to accomplish. It took four weeks, 200 hours, and over 20 rolls of duct tape to bring these jaw-dropping masterpieces to life. It obviously was a hit as their look, which they entered into a Prom Scholarship Contest, saw them win and they both scooped a scholarship for University worth $10,000 (that's over R130,000 in South African terms). Wow!
Their look is gorgeous, innovative, and super catchy. Who knows, they could have started a new prom dress trend amongst teens?
I'd be super keen to try on a dress made only of duct tape. How about you?
