heartbreaking picture after her daughter died from cancer.
A mother has shared a picture of an empty space where she took a picture of her daughter heading to school a year ago.
The picture is empty because her daughter sadly died after battling cancer for three years.

Julia Apicella shared this empty picture on Facebook to warn other mothers.
She wrote on Facebook:
‘School photo time - obviously someone very special missing - my daughter Emily. Imagine if your school photo this year is the LAST you will ever be able to take and will just be a memory to remember.’
Don’t let your child’s back to school picture be the last one.
September is Child Cancer Aweareness Month and don’t forget to look out for the following symptoms:
