Everyone makes bad decisions at some point in their lives and have to live with them. Jane decided to share one regret that haunts her to this very day...
Looking back on my life, I sometimes think 'if only I knew then what I know now'. While at school, I thought I knew everything. Boy, was I mistaken!
When I left school, I thought I had arrived - you know I thought I was a pretty big deal back then. How wrong was I. Looking back at the lessons I have learned, I realise how little I actually knew then and even now daily I am learning new things.

A friend of mine was caught drinking and driving and has a criminal record and now can't join her family in their quest to immigrate. This offence has also been a huge obstacle as far as her career is concerned. It's amazing how one night and one bad decision can impact the rest of your life.
For me, one regret I have, although it wasn't in my youth, happened about five years ago. While pregnant with the twins, I had a day out with one of my closest friends. During our meeting, I blew something arb out of proportion and it ended with me missing out on her wedding day because of the incident. One regret that I have to live with for the rest of my life.

It is something that I wish I could go back and change, but it is what it is. All I have to do is take it as a learning experience and move on. No use dwelling on the past.
