PMB high school student is aiming for the Miss SA Schools title

Kiara Singh, a grade 12 student, is trying to inspire change with her project, 'Girl Inhales Ambition'.
The SA Schools Ambassadors Competition aims to empower young South African schoolgirls with the necessary knowledge and skills to become an ambassador.

After the passing of her dad late last year, Kiara chose to push forward and continue with this competition. She wants to inspire change in her community of Pietermaritzburg. She is the change that she wants to see in the world.
Finalists for the competition are required to give back to their community, by means of community-based projects. She is currently working with the RIV Life Community Centre in Pietermaritzburg and wants create awareness of diabetes.

Together with her diabetes awareness project, she is also collecting toys to be distributed to those children in need.
The finals of the competition will be taking place from 25 to 26 May and she needs your votes. Votes can be made on the SA Schools Ambassadors competition Facebook page, under her picture.
