I am sure we all have a story or know of someone who has a story revolving around getting out of a parking ticket or speeding fine, right?

Well, I came across this story about a police officer from Wisconsin who took pity on a driver who left a very honest note on his windshield.

The police officer noticed that the car was parked illegally overnight and was about to write the motorist a parking ticket when he noticed a very honest note which was left on the windshield of the car. It read: 'Please take pity on me. I walked home... Safe choices'.

This cop was totally taken aback after reading this very endearing and honest note that he took pity on the driver who made the responsible choice to walk home and not to drive under the influence of alcohol.

Making a safe choice is the only way, and I'm so glad the cop felt the same.
