Lira gives a Frank Sinatra classic her own special twist

Yesterday was a really inspiring morning at the Standard Bank ECR GIBS Business Breakfast. It was such a joy to see Lira in person. She exudes warmth and has a sure sense of self.

She is a consummate professional and she spoke openly about her journey from being an accountant to musician and was honest about her lowest point and the things she learned to reach where she is today. She used words like purpose, mindset, inspiration and adaptability which resonated with me. 

To end off she went into a version of Frank Sinatra's My Way that physically shook the room. I could see a few damp eyes in the room as she belted out the lyrics and even changed the last line to 'you did it your way'. I thought it was absolutely amazing!
