Words such as 'hero' and 'guardian angel' will come to mind after reading this story.
This is such a beautiful story. Yay for people like this who choose to be good and honest!
While doing my evening rounds on the interwebs, I came across a story of one Durban-based security guard whose kind deed has got everyone talking.

Tolla Oosthuizen was at a local ATM to draw cash but unfortunately somehow forgot it and walked away. Cue the 'guardian angel', Oscar. This security guard was quick to notice what had happened and kept the money safely until the owner came back to retrieve it. Thankfully, Tolla did come back two hours later to the ATM, and it was then that Oscar revealed that he had kept the money for him.

He could quite easily have denied seeing the money and gone on his merry way, but instead, he chose the route to a good night's sleep and hand over the R2,000 in cash. I wonder how many of us would you have done the same?
Taking to his Facebook page, Tolla uploaded a post to thank Oscar for his kindness.
I went to the bank this morning just after 8 and drew R 2000 and left just with my card and money still in the machine on my arrival at home two hours later I Realized I left my money in the machine I ran back to the bank and upon my arrival there I spoke to the guard He asked me which machine I used I showed him and he took the money out of his pocket to my amazement Sjoe what a honorable man I salute you for the man you are may God bless you abundantly for your honesty and integrity.- Tolla Oosthuizen
Tolla also managed to capture footage of him thanking the humble man. At the time of writing, it was viewed over 31,000 times. Wow!
We caught up with Tolla following the story that warmed many hearts in KZN. Here's what he had to say:
It's people like Oscar that make South Africa the greatest place on earth to live. Thank you, Oscar, for your kind deed. I genuinely hope that we take a page out of his book. This is what true honesty and integrity looks like.
