Couple does a Beyoncé dance routine on wedding day

The more weddings I attend the more I see that this type of wedding dance is becoming the norm. I think it's great, what fun!

Who said you only have to dance to romantic ballads on your wedding day? This couple decided to step out from the norm and do something unusual.

Kevin Montgomery and Gillian Smith from Glasgow decided to dance to a Beyonce song on their wedding day on Saturday at West Kilbride's Waterside Hotel, Mirror reported.

One of the bridesmaids told Daily Record: "Gillian works for a company called YDance as a teacher, so we knew something was going to happen. The idea came after dance colleagues did similar at their weddings, and we knew it would be a Beyonce song because that's what they had, so she wanted to keep the theme.”

The groom added that the dance was “great fun though and a lovely wee touch to an absolutely perfect day." 

Mike and I did the cling on to each other in a roundabout motion first dance. At one stage we got the giggles as we spotted a guest wearing a pair of old school slops with his dinner jacket, gotta love Durbs!
