The beauty of the #colourblind campaign
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
TUT students have started an incredible campaign on
social media about racial tolerance.
I battle to read news of racial intolerance, in fact I shy away like an ostrich.
I stick my head in the sand and would prefer to live in a bubble.
I am all in for any type of positive movement, mind-set or actions that show others love and care.
I loved reading about the #colourblind campaign and that’s why I wanted to snap a picture of me and my bestie.
The campaign which started at TUT has gone viral all around the country with people sharing their stories of tolerance.
Samke is a very dear and sacred soul who is a pivotal part of our family.
Samke is a lot of things to many people, other than my husband, mom, dad and sister, she is my closest confidant.
Samke has lived with us for over 10 years and wears many hats, friend, sister, mother, fashion consultant and at times even my gym partner, that is another story in itself.
I wish on shooting stars to live in a world of kindness and tolerance.
You can join the #clourblind campaign by going online, posting your images and pledging solidarity.
