#TheHotTake: Prokid’s burial and funeral etiquette
There are some do's and don’ts at every funeral, and at Prokid’s funeral we saw a big DON'T.
So here I am sitting on my couch on a cool Durban morning.

If you know me, you know I am a hip-hop fan and so naturally I was gutted by the news of ProKid passing away, and then later surprised to find out he’d died in the arms of his mistress.
Nonetheless, on Sunday I tuned into the livestream of ProKid’s funeral and watched as thousands of fans, family, and friends paid tribute to the 'Uthini ngoPro' hitmaker.

What I didn’t expect was the plot twist of the open casket and even worse, reports of people taking selfies with Prokid’s body.
I know we like to do it for the Gram, but this is way too much. What can you possibly do with the picture of a deceased person?
Naturally, when the news surfaced, people took to Twitter to voice their disgust at what was happening.

Seeing this made me wonder what are some of the worst things you’ve seen people do at a funeral and what are some of the do's and don’ts for your funeral?
