Conco is a Director of Nomkhubulwane Culture and Youth Development Organisation‚ aimed at protecting the cultural practices of young Zulu women. She is also involved in a national campaign by government that helps young women avoid unwanted pregnancies and HIV infections.
According to Times Live, the campaign’s national committee chairperson Lerato Morulane, as well as the board, are concerned about Nonkanyiso's affiliation with Jacob Zuma.
