#DearDiary is a new feature on #EastCoastUrban which follows the life of one young wife through her diary entries.
In the first episode of #EastCoastUrban's new feature #DearDiary, a young Durban woman (who chooses not to be named) take us through her first diary entry which was penned the day after her wedding.
A day which most women (and men) reflect on with great euphoria and love. From the moment one walks down the aisle, to the reciting of the vows, and when the happy couple is officially announced as husband and wife. This, however, is not the case for this young wife...
This is not like the movies. I keep waiting for that scene - you know the one where you wake up in the morning and you look at your ring and then you turn around and look at your husband all lovey-dovey? Yeah, that's not happening for me!
