Honest government adverts! What the hell are you talking about?
This honest advert for Australia is not only amazing, but funny! We should do a few for South Africa!
One of my favourite You Tube channels is Honest Trailers. They describe the channel as "Trailers that tell you the TRUTH about your favorite movies and TV shows: Honest Trailers. These are the hilarious trailers the producers don't want you to see...." Spot on!
So imagine if we applied this principle to political adverts, or government adverts that try to spin us a tall tale about just how wonderful our country is.
Election season is heating up in South Africa, so I am sure we going to see a lot of pro-ANC adverts, pro-DA, pro- EFF, pro this or pro that! It is going to become a little nauseating- so how about a dose of honesty.
I came across this advert for Australia. It is brilliant! We need to make these. Let's keep all politicians on their toes!
