Work WhatsApp groups - do you stick around after being fired?

Work relationships are often strained; especially after a colleague gets fired and you're left with them in a WhatsApp group - do you delete them and continue with work communications or do you start a new chat group?
Work environment is one of a completely professional context, in fact when creating work WhatsApp groups, you still conduct yourself in a very professional manner within the group.
So now, what happens when someone in the group is inevitably fired? Do you delete the person or just lessen the blow by creating a new work group?
