A new local production called ‘Keeping up with Kandasamys’ is set to hit screens in March this year. It promises to be a film that has something for everyone, and is set in our very own Chatsworth in Durban.
Jailoshini Naidoo, a multi-award-winning actress and comedian, and radio personality/comedian Maeshni Naicker are the stars of the show.
The premise of the film is based on neighbourhood rivalry between two Chatsworth mothers whose young adult children become romantically involved. Drama!
We’ve checked out the trailer and we cannot wait for the movie to be released! ‘Keeping up with the Kandasamys’ is said to be light-hearted, entertaining, and is bound to leave you in stitches.
