Results from studies have come to light showing that eating your boogers may have health benefits. According to Times Live, the act of eating your boogers not only provides health benefits, but also provides a reservoir-like storage of good bacteria which may help to prevent you from getting ill. The study was conducted and published in the American Society for Microbiology.

Studies have also said that people who eat boogers are more happier and at one with their body and health. Habits like this normally begin during childhood, so I started wondering whether if I would allow my son to ingest his boogers?
Simply put, it grosses me out. I would need to research it properly and find proof that it actually does have health benefits. Other than that, it would take some massive convincing and years of habit to turn my intolerance around.
