Prankster convinces Burger King employees to smash windows
Updated | By East Coast Drive
As far as prank calls are concerned, this one is next level.
A prank caller phoned a Burger King in Minnesota and convinced the employees to smash the windows.
The caller posed as a fire official and told the staff there was rising gas pressure and that the windows needed to be smashed in order to prevent an explosion.
Police were called to the restaurant by on-lookers who thought the building was being vandalised.
Firefighters were then called to check the building and confirmed the incident was a hoax.
It was a hoax that has cost the restaurant thousands of dollars in damages.
Investigators are currently trying to trace the origin of the prank.
