Phat Joe’s son is a star boxer!
Updated | By Phat Joe
Brooklyn, the son of Phat Joe, took part in a boxing tournament recently and Joe had to share his thoughts on it.
It's not often that you reach a crossroads with your kids and realise that they can now discipline you, instead of the other way around.
My 14-year-old son has taken to boxing and has so much dedication, like nothing I've ever seen. He's suddenly self-motivated and trains regularly, even going for nightly jogs and gym training. It has made all the pushing and prodding so worth it. But unbeknownst to me, he's also become a really good boxer.

On the 30th of November he had his first boxing tournament and first official fight. He didn't know who he was going to fight until the day. I shrieked a bit when I saw the other kids' matches and was told he would be boxing a 19-year-old with more experience than him.

This tournament was serious. I saw mothers losing it and nearly jumping into the ring to fight their kids' battles for them.
The moment I saw Brooklyn boxing, I couldn’t believe my eyes. My son, the boxing champion.
Take a look at some videos I captured of him boxing and the ultimate winning moment. I couldn’t be more proud of Brooklyn!
