Phat Joe gets Bongeka to Canada AND gives her spending money!
Yesterday Phat Joe came across a story he simply could not ignore. This is just beautiful!
22-year-old Bongeka Dlamini from Umlazi has been selected to participate in the One Young World Summit in Ottawa, Canada, in September.
Bongeka did not have the funds for the trip and needed around R70 000 to make it happen.
Phat Joe made a plea to you yesterday and set up a crowdfunding website.
After hearing Phat Joe's plea on East Coast Drive yesterday, one man, who wants to remain anonymous, made Bongeka's dream come true.
Bongeka will make KZN proud when she gathers with the brightest young people from around the world and is empowered to make positive change.
