'My boss is younger than me, and I can't stand it!'

What are your thoughts on youth empowerment in your work environment? Is it a good thing having youth in charge, or should the older staff be calling the shots?

Youth empowerment is a crucial aspect for many companies to use for growth and perspective. A tool that needs to be utilized both ethically and strategically.
Mags shares how an acquaintance went through an issue where their company was bought out, and they reshuffled staff, moving the older employees to junior levels and putting younger people in charge at senior levels. Now having them as junior staff reporting to the younger staff at senior level that was far less qualified in terms of experience.
He and the older employees are struggling with this as their 'seniors' are half their age, and they feel they absolutely cannot take them seriously as their experience is lacking by a long shot.

Bongani argues that for the company, and general progression of the overall company direction, people in management and senior levels should definitely be of a younger age so as to better relate and understand the current digital climate.
