Mandoza's cancer is back
South African kwaito legend is unfortunately ill yet again with a cancer that has metastasized to his brain.
Mduduzi Tshabalala, more commonly known as Mandoza known for his hit "Nkalakatha" has been plaugued with vrious illnessness in the past couple years, and yesterday, his friend and producer Gabi le Roux, took to social media to share these words.
"A great son of our Mzansi soil is in trouble. Mandoza Nkalakatha is fighting for his life after having cancer treatment in 2015; it has unfortunately metastasizewd to his brain. Doctors and medical staff are trying whatever they can and we are not giving up hope for his recovery. Mpho and the Tshabalala family has asked all his friends and fans to pray for him, beckon the Ancestors and keep him in your thoughts during this time. Please also be respectful and discreet in how you react to this announcement. Thanks"
Yesterday I got to speak to his wife, Mpho and she has assured us that Mandoza is fighting like a true soldier, and is receiving treatment and is recovering at home. He will be performing at Orlando Stadium, on the weekend.
