Not all apologies go the way we would like them to. People forget that apologies don't always have to be accepted - especially if the damage runs deep.

We then asked listeners if they've ever turned down someone’s apology or had an apology not accepted, and we received an overwhelming response.
It made us realise that people are not forced to accept your apology just because you are sorry.
