Has Kylie Jenner changed the wig game?

Zaba is weighing on comments by Kylie Jenner's hairstylist that the reality star has brought hairpieces back to life.

Every now and then while I'm trolling the net, I come across something that truly makes me go ‘WTF'.
According to an article written by The Daily Mail, Kylie Jenner's hairstylist Jonathan Colombini claims that Kylie saved wigs from the stigma that they only belonged to old ladies and that because of her using them, more people have followed suit. He even told The Daily Telegraph that ‘she has changed the game as far as wearing wigs’.

Wigs are known as a form of protective styling for black women, whose hair grows differently to Caucasian locks, and needs to be protected because of moisture.
Black girls have been wigging it out since forever. Young and old, we've been doing it! We haven't waited for her to start a trend, we just ran with it.
Although she is very influential, Miss Jenner cannot claim this one. I wear my wig with pride and it’s definitely not because of Miss Jenner.
