East Coast Drive talks to Sister Dheshni Ragaloo

Tuesday is International Nurses Day and East Coast Drive thought it would be amazing to chat with one of our very own nurses.
Every year, International Nurses Day is celebrated on the 12th of May.

It’s a day during which nurses around the world are celebrated and recognised for their invaluable contribution to the medical field. And, as we find ourselves in a battle against the coronavirus, our nurses are on the frontline risking infection of themselves and those close to them.
To show appreciation to all the nurses on this day, East Coast Drive had a chat with Head of Paediatrics at Lenmed Ethekwini Heart Hospital, Sister Dheshni Ragaloo.
She was able to talk to us about how nurses have had to change the way they do things since the coronavirus outbreak and also what they have to do personally to keep themselves and their families safe.
