Driver caught on video squeezing 32 people into a taxi

This driver thought he could get away with this but was sadly mistaken.
With all the taxi issues and strikes that are occurring at present, we were completely shocked to come across this video!

According to TimesLive, a driver in Cape Town was recently arrested for illegally trying to squeeze 32 passenger into a 14-seater taxi. What?! The taxi was so packed to capacity that 14 of the 32 passengers had to remain standing throughout the trip.

The City Of Cape Town has spoken up and said that in addition to the driver attempting something so illegal, he was also unlicensed.
It's disturbing to see that our innocent South Africans who rely on public transport are subjected to something as insane as this. Luckily the passengers managed to get out safely, but if an accident had occurred, it could have fatal.
This is sheer insanity!
