Should children conceived outside of wedlock be given up when their mothers choose to remarry?
On Monday, Bongani chatted about his family's get together happening this coming weekend, to discuss whether or not his cousin Kwenzeka, who is soon to be married, should take in his fiance's child as his own.

If the family decides that Kwenzeka should not take the child in because of cultural differences, this will mean that the soon-to-be bride is going to leave her child with her parents which mean that the grandparents will raise the child as their own.

'This sort of occurrence is arguably why and how most children in black communities end up being raised by their grandparents', says Bongani.
