CCTV footage shows woman jumping out of boot after kidnapping
A woman jumped out of the boot of a moving car to escape her kidnapper.
Shocking footage shows the moment an American woman escaped from a robbery and kidnapping incident by jumping out of the boot of a car - while it was moving.
Police say the 25-year-old was walking to her apartment in Alabama on Tuesday when she was confronted by an armed man.
The suspect demanded money from the woman, and when he discovered that she did not have any on her, he forced her into the boot of a car.
The man then drove to a petrol station and parked outside a convenience store before going inside.
CCTV cameras captured the man's movements inside and outside the store.
He tried to use an ATM inside the store, before going back to the car.
When the man drives off, a woman can be seen jumping out of the vehicle's boot while it is still moving.
She quickly runs inside the store for help!
The suspect managed to get away, but CCTV footage captured an image of his face, and police hope to make an arrest soon.
The woman escaped with minor injuries.
