British Airways flight floods in mid-air
Updated | By East Coast Drive
The last thing you need on a long-haul flight is the terror and inconvenience of a flood.

Passengers on a British Airways flight from Johannesburg to Heathrow experienced a little bit of a scary ride.
A trolley accidentelly hit a pipe that caused a water to flood down from the upper deck and flood the walkways.
Staff apparently seemed completely overwhelmed with the situation and rushed around, throwing blankets down to soak up the water.
Passenger Nicolas Gausserand said, "Everything on the floor was totally wet, my feet and my backpack were totally wet. Most of the passengers were not wearing shoes at that stage."
The incident took place approximately 90 minutes from Heathrow, but pilots assured passengers there was no danger and the plane would land safely.
The plane landed safely.
