Bongani wants us all to learn from Kurt Darren's national anthem blunder

"How does Kurt Darren not know the national anthem, but he's supposedly a great performer? Maybe this is a teaching moment rather than a laughing moment?" asks Bongani.
Listen to the discussion, or read the details under the podcast.
Afrikaans musician Kurt Darren was elected to sing the national anthem at the Varsity Cup final between Maties and Tuks, but it didn't go well at all.
Kurt completely messed up the anthem by repeating the first verse instead of singing the second verse. Eventually, he completed the anthem, but social media ripped him apart for not knowing our most important song.

Dear @StellenboschUni and @FNBSA #VarsityCup. Rather not sing it at all than insult our Nation & African languages. If you don’t have black students to sing the National Anthem, just don’t do it. Nxa. pic.twitter.com/yww6D8qUCl

"To all those teasing Kurt Darren, most white people have learnt the sounds to make with those parts of the anthem but not the words to the national anthem. So, you know what, I'm going to help everyone by translating the anthem for you all," offers Bongani.
Do you like Bongani's initiative to teach everyone the words and meaning of the national anthem?
