Are people running for their lives after Donald Trump victory?
Updated | By Rory Petzer
Shortly after Donald Trump's election victory, the Canadian Immigration website crashed. Here’s what Rory has to say about the incident.
Something bizarre happened online as it became more and more likely that Donald Trump was to become the 45th U.S. President. But, was it just a coincidence?
While closely monitoring the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election results this morning, in my mind's eye I pictured all the Mexican people scrambling for their lives.

As it became more and more likely the controversial business tycoon Donald Trump was to take on the biggest job on earth, I even imagined the big wall he spoke about.
In fact, I even found myself researching Trump's contact details so I could submit a tender to build the 1000s of miles worth of wall.
I, admittedly, have no idea how to build a wall, but I could always just YouTube it.
Isn't that how many of our RDP houses are built?
Anyway, I digress.
But something happened online and you're not going to believe it.
As more and more of the votes were counted, and it became more and more obvious the orange man was going to rule the world, the Canadian Immigration website crashed.
I'm not even lying. It happened. The website crashed.
Was this just purely coincidental or was it really because everyone was doing their best to get out of America at the same time?

I'd like to believe the latter.
While I’m here I’d like to point out that today’s date is 9/11. Use it. Lose it.
Take a look at these and let me know what you think...
I was gonna write this as a joke but found out it was real. "The Canada Citizenship and Immigration site crashed around 8 PM" #electionnight
