History was made on Saturday when Amanda Lino became Africa's first flyweight champ. She joined the East Coast Drive team to chat about her big win.
Listen below as Amanda Lino chats to Phat Joe and Mags after her big win at EFC60, which took place at Sibaya Casino on Saturday.
Saturday was marked as historic in EFC circles when MMA fighter Amanda 'Mad Dog' Lino became Africa's first female flyweight champion.
Amanda, who hails from Ballito, has been practicing MMA since 2012 and has fought three times in the Extreme Fighting Championship.
Saturday saw EFC60 come to Sibaya Casino where Amanda took on her opponent Jacqueline Trosee. It was a tough, nail-biting match. With only eight seconds to go until the end of the second round, she managed to roll her opponent for an armbar and that was it. History was made.
Well done, Amanda!
