WTF on East Coast Drive: KZN listeners share childhood gun stories

After reading a disturbing story which left two children dead, Bongani and Mags wanted to hear from KZN listeners who were exposed to guns during their childhood.

It's a story which has had a tragic ending for a family in Empangeni.
On Monday, our Newswatch team published an article about an 11-year-old boy who accidentally shot his 2-year-old sister with his father's licensed gun, then pulled the trigger on himself.

After reading the story, Bongani and Mags decided to chat about the importance of gun safety and wanted to hear from listeners on the East Coast who found themselves exposed to a firearm growing up.
Not only did they receive many calls and WhatsApp messages, but Bongani also shared a very personal story about his dad's gun.
