The teenager says that she noticed a bruise on her mom’s arm and after repeatedly asking her what it was, her mom admitted that her dad hurt her when they argued a few days ago.

Her mom made her promise to him that she would never tell anyone and that it had only happened once.
She asked me to promise to never tell anyone and that it has never ever happened before. I don’t want to. I think I need to tell someone but I don’t want my mom to be angry
